I am trying to figure out how to setup my Smartgen HGM420N controller to not run during non-working hours even if mains failure occurs. Is this possible? If so, how does one set this up?
Hi SLA, Yes it is possible to set the controller to not operate during non-business hours by setting up the Scheduled Not Run function using the iGMP6 software which you can download off our website www.genexpress.co.za or www.smartgen.cn . Select the Scheduled Not Run tab and tick the Auto Start Inhibit, Schedule Period set to Daily, Time (Hour) set to the non run start hour, as in the example 17 (17h00), Set the Time (Minute) as in example 30 (17H30). Set duration that the generator must not start in minutes, in the example I have set for 12hours (720 minutes). Therefor the generator will only auto start at 05h30 the next day if there is a power outage.
