Does the remote start(Gen Start) come configured automatically on outputs 9 & 10?
Is it a voltage trigger or dry contact?

Hi Christo
The output for remote start is a normally Closed dry contact, when Source 1 is available (Mains available) this contact will open, when Source 1 in unavailable Mains unavailable) the contact will close to give the remote start command to the generator controller. Typically the generator controller will need a Battery negative signal closed to a digital input to activate the start sequence of the generator. In this application you will need to connect the same battery negative to terminal 9 and your battery negative outout will make contact through the Remote Start output on terminal 10. This is a volt free contact which can also be used if you need to switch a battery positive if you are driving a relay. I hope that answers your question. Thanks Stephen Amos
